Marketing-Be clear in Knowing the Requirements of the customer

Every customer is Different and has different thoughts about the product for which he is going to use the product for or the service he is going to get.So marketers need to be very very careful in understanding the needs and also to know the expectations that a customer has.
Consumer behavior is of course a vast subject and its difficult to predict a customer.But we can get the clues from the customer by his first two or three sentences and probing plays an important role in knowing and determining the needs of the customer.
So don't make a mistake by expressing what you know about your product benefits and trying to show your knowledge to the customer, Instead try to tell him the benefits which are related and help fulfill his requirements.
